How to add Person and Plan Manager to a Circle

In Comm.care, a Person (such as Care Recipient, Carer, Plan Manager) can be added to Circles in order to store their personal information. They are managed on the 'Participant' tab under Circles.

Note: You can only create a claim when there is at least one Care Recipient in that Circle.

To add a Care Recipient (Client) or Carer

Go to:

My Circles > Choose the Circle > Participant > +Add(On the top right) > New Person

Add Care Recipient (Client) or Carer
  1. Switch on the option Care Recipient or Carer.
  2. Fill in all the information in each section. When you hover over a question mark, you will know that information is required by the NDIS or DSS.
  3. If your Organisation is integrated with MYOB: fill in MYOB Account Name and Account ID
  4. If you want to send statements or invoices to them, remember to add their email address
  5. If you want to add Informal user to Care Recipient (Client), switch on the option ***Has Carer >***Save changes

To add a Plan Manager

Note: If the Circle is plan-managed, the Plan Manager should be added to the Circle's participant tab, in order to receive invoice emails from Comm.care.

Go to:

My Circles > Choose the Circle > Participant > +Add > New Person

  1. Switch on the option Plan Manager
  2. Fill in Institution Name and Plan Manager's name
  3. If your Organisation is integrated with MYOB: fill in MYOB Account Name and Account ID
  4. Important: remember to add their email address so that Comm.care can send invoices to them, and then**> Save Changes**

Set Care Recipient/ Carer/ Plan Manager as claim recipient

To send invoices or statements to a Care Recipient, Carer, or Plan Manager, you have to set claim recipient for each Roadmap of the Circle.

Go to:

My Circles > Choose the Circle > Roadmap > Add New Service or select the service to edit > Set the Care recipient/ Carer/ Plan manager as the claim recipient > Save changes

If it is NDIS-funded service, when you select that it is managed by Plan Manager, the Plan Manager will be auto-selected as Claim Recipient. You may want to select Carer or Care Recipient as Claim CC so that they can receive a notification email each time an invoice or statement is created.
