Circle's Roles

Comm.care allows you to take the utmost care of Client data. Each user, whether Staff or another person, can be assigned one or more roles, each with different permissions assigned to it. This article will brief you about assigning various roles to users in your Organisation.

Organisational Roles are divided into Manager, Staff, and Volunteer. The Roles in Circles are Coordinator, Service Provider, Service Aid, and Admin, while other roles include Guardian, Carer, or Person.

The Coordinators, manage all services provided to the Client by their Organisation. They have full access to the service plans, can read and modify all Documents, and comment on them.

Service Provider

Service Providers provide direct support to the Client. They are trained professionals who have access to daily administrative information, as well as the Client’s personal information. They can read all Documents and comment on them.

Aid

Aids provide direct support (i.e. a service) to the Client. They have access to daily administrative information but do not have access to complex information, such as personal plans.

Admin

Admins coordinate the administrative work for their Organisation. Admins can update the Circle's profile and create appointments. They do not have access to personal information, such as service events and personal plans. They will be able to update Staff Profiles in their Organisation.

The Informal Circle of Care

add parent, guardian or plan manager to comm.care

Person

This role is given to the person that receives the services. Can read all documents and comment on them. They can also update notes.

Guardian

This role is given to the person that is legally responsible for the Client. The Guardian can give access to the Circle to individual users such as family and friends. The Guardian can also, if your Organisation agrees, grant access to the Circle to other organisations that provide services to the Client.

Carer

This role is given to the person that looks after the Client just out of love, like a good neighbour, close friend, or family relatives. Can read all documents and comment on them. They can also update notes.

Both Carers and Guardians can read and comment on the Documents that an Organisation has created, only if the Organisation gives them access. If you wish to gain access to these documents, please contact the Organisation directly.

This way each user has the level of access they require to manage client data at an Organisational level.
